Countries VNRs findings show that successful SDG) implementation relies on integrated policies, strong governance, and inclusive participation from government, the private sector, and civil society. Progress is more effective when countries use data-driven planning, localise SDGs within national and sub-national systems, and strengthen institutional coordination and capacity building. Other countries can learn key lessons from those performing well on the SDGs, particularly the importance of treating the goals as interconnected, adopting long-term planning approaches, ensuring adequate financing, and building resilient systems to sustain development outcomes.
